Stefan Midford is a retail industry veteran and serial entrepreneur, having founded multiple successful retail SaaS-based companies including Natural Insight, a leading retail execution and collaboration platform, and Capango, the next-generation engine for recruiting in retail. With more than 40 years of proven experience in the retail industry, Midford is dedicated to solving challenges and developing solutions related to retail execution, field management and on-demand workforces. His background includes senior level and executive leadership positions at Discover Financial Services, Sears Roebuck & Co., Sears Canada Inc. and Intersections Inc.
Currently, Midford is the chief customer officer at Movista, a leading provider of an advanced, mobile-first retail execution and workforce management platform, which acquired both Natural Insight and Capango in 2019. In this role Midford is responsible for managing client relationships, expanding the company’s international footprint and identifying new revenue streams.
A recognized thought leader, Midford is often tapped to speak about workforce innovation at retail industry conferences. He was recognized as one of CEO Report’s 2018 Mid-Atlantic Innovator & Entrepreneur Award winners and was one of DCA’s Red Hot Entrepreneurs.
